Skip for door-to-door separate waste collection:Orione
Introduction
“Orione” is an underground system designed for all those who care about the environment and who believe and have invested in door-to-door separate waste collection. Our system is designed to resolve one of the problems caused by this waste collection method, namely the exponential increase of the number of garbage bags scattered along the roads of the town.
Description
“Orione” is a metal skip installed underground complete with lid into which the traditional garbage bags are placed. The “Orione” line has two skips: a small skip for bags with capacity of up to 360 litres and a large skip for bags with a capacity of up to 1100 litres.
When the system is closed it is absolutely invisible because the top may be paved in the same way as the without interrupting the road surface.
Use
The number of “Orione” systems used will be equal to the number of skips to install underground which may be installed at a distance of several meters depending on the space available. For each group of 5 “Orione” systems, a hydraulic control unit is installed in an underground well which opens the system selected and lifts the container to ground level for handling purposes.
Waste Disposal
Users who place waste in a specific group of underground systems are given a key which activates a pushbutton panel installed next to the systems. The user fits the key into the pushbutton panel and then presses one of the buttons to select the skip required. This opens the system and the container selected is lifted out. Once the waste has been placed in the skip, the user removes the key from the pushbutton panel and the system closes automatically.
Emptying the System
Waste disposal operators are given a pass to empty all the skips in the area.
Electrical Power
The hydraulic control unit is run by an 500 W 220 V electric motor.
